Pages assist in the operation of the Legislative Assembly by performing a variety of tasks for Members and staff.
Employment as a Legislative Page offers a unique educational opportunity and the chance to experience legislative and democratic processes.
- Must be available during legislative sessions;
- Must be able to work multiple three-hour shifts (minimum) during ordinary sitting hours of the House;
- Must be in attendance at a post-secondary institution.
The ordinary sitting hours of the House are:
Tuesday 1.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Wednesday 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m., 1.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Thursday 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m., 1.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Friday 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.
Additional hours are possible when House hours are extended and committee meetings arise.
