Marco LeBlanc is the member for the riding of Belle-Baie—Belledune at the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick. First elected in the by-election held on April 24, 2023, he was reelected in the subsequent general election with strong support from people in his riding.

Originally from Petit-Rocher, Mr. LeBlanc is known for his strong commitment to communities in the northern part of the province and for his rigorous approach to economic, social, and institutional matters. He has over 10 years of experience at both the provincial and federal levels, where he held various strategic positions in planning, communications, and stakeholder engagement.

Mr. LeBlanc holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Université de Moncton and distinguished himself while he was a student through his leadership and initiative. Among other things, he cofounded student organizations, took part in entrepreneurial projects, and held leadership roles in youth events at both the provincial and national levels.

Before entering politics, Mr. LeBlanc served as a political advisor to government ministers, helping to develop public policy, coordinate parliamentary proceedings, and draft strategic speeches. This experience provided him with a thorough understanding of how government operates and of the legislative process.

In the Legislative Assembly, Mr. LeBlanc serves as Government House Leader and sits on a number of standing committees, including those on climate change, official languages, social policy, and law amendments. In these roles, he works to foster constructive dialogue and to advance policies focused on the public interest.

Very active on the ground, Mr. LeBlanc maintains close ties with citizens, municipalities, community organizations, and economic stakeholders across his region. He advocates with conviction for priorities such as enhanced access to health care, support for education, the vitality of Francophone communities, and sustainable economic development in northern New Brunswick.
